FAQs

What is a Cothern Cards Live rip and ship stream?
A Cothern Cards Live rip and ship stream is when you purchase packs and we open them live on stream for you. After the stream, your cards are packed up and shipped to you unless you selected the hold option.

Where do you stream?
We stream live on the Cothern Cards YouTube and Twitch channels.

How often do you stream?
Our stream schedule may vary, but we stream most evenings except Tuesday and Friday starting at 8:30 PM Eastern. During special occasions, we may stream those nights, though. For the most recent updates, join our Discord.

What happens after my order is opened on stream?
After your order is opened, your cards are packed carefully, and prepared for shipment when you pay for shipping on the shipping option you selected.

How does shipping work?
We offer two shipping options. You can pay $6 to have up to 9 packs of cards shipped or $10 to have up to a 500 ct box worth of cards ship (500 ct box is just a size reference). You can also choose to have your cards held at our stream studio with our Hold shipping option, which does not pay for shipping. You can use this to avoid paying shipping multiple times if you make multiple purchases in the same shipping period.

What is a shipping week?
Most weeks, other than special weeks such as early access weeks, we combine the cards opened on multiple streams into one shipment to keep your shipping costs lower. Each Wednesday, we start a new shipping week. All cards ordered from Wednesday through the following Monday will be combined into one shipment as long as you pay for shipping on at least one order that covers the amount of cards you purchased. We do our best to get those packages shipped out by the end of the day on Thursday.

What is the Hold shipping option?
The Hold shipping option means we hold your cards after they are opened instead of shipping them right away. This is useful if you want to combine multiple orders into one shipment or wait until later to pay for shipping.

How do I get my Hold orders shipped?
When you’re ready to have your held cards mailed out, you’ll need to complete the shipping payment process through the store using the available shipping option. Once that’s done, we’ll begin preparing your held order for shipment.

When do you ship orders?
Rip and ship packages are generally mailed out once a week. Our usual shipping day is Thursday for completed orders from the previous Wednesday through Monday streams, as well as any older cards you may have had held.

Can I combine multiple orders into one shipment?
Yes, in many cases orders can be combined when using a hold option, as long as shipping has not already been completed. You will need to pay a sufficient amount of shipping depending on the amount of cards you order on the stream.

How carefully are cards packaged?
We take packaging seriously. Orders are packed securely with care to help protect cards during transit.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to update your shipping address. We can only make changes before your package has been processed and shipped with proper documentation

What if my tracking says delivered, but I did not receive my package?
If a package is marked delivered but cannot be found, we recommend first checking around the delivery area, with neighbors, and with your local post office. In some cases, the post office may be able to confirm delivery details. Once a package is marked delivered, recovery options can be limited.

What are battles, and what happens if one does not fill?
Battles require multiple participants to fill. You can read the details of how battles work on our battle page. If a battle or similar group break does not fill within 14 days from purchase, we may issue a refund based on our posted policy.

Can I request that certain cards be sleeved or handled a certain way?
We take care with all orders, especially notable hits. If you have a special request, reach out and we’ll do our best to help when possible.

How do I contact you with a problem or question?
The best way to reach us is through our contact page. We aim to provide responsive customer service and help however we can.
